Tower Records Suzuka Store Opens Dedicated Used CD Area, Offering Over 15,000 Used CDs from July 17

Tower Records will open a new used CD corner at its Suzuka store in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture on July 17 (Fri.), and will launch an opening campaign on the same day.

The dedicated used CD area opening at Tower Records Suzuka Store on July 17 (Fri.) will offer over 15,000 used CDs, aiming to provide "the best place to encounter music" by removing the barriers between new and used items.

To commemorate this opening, Tower Records Suzuka Store will hold a "10% OFF Sale on All Used CDs," and will also display a limited poster featuring an original illustration by Mie Prefecture-born illustrator Hayashiyuki. The poster, which expresses the "excitement of discovering your favorite CD among many" and the "joy of listening to music on CD" in a retro worldview, will liven up the sales floor. Furthermore, customers who purchase 3,000 yen (tax included) or more of in-store items will receive one "Original Smartphone-Sized Sticker" featuring the same illustration on a first-come, first-served basis.

Also starting on the same day, the Suzuka store will launch its "In-Store CD Purchase Acceptance Service." Used CDs brought to the store will be appraised by specialized staff at the purchase center. In conjunction with this, an advantageous campaign offering a 25% increase on the purchase price of used CDs will be held.
