The Toshima Mirai Cultural Foundation (Location: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Naoto Aiba) will hold "Ami. @ Echika" at Echika Ikebukuro Gallery.

From the early Showa period to the post-war era, young artists moved to the area around Nishi-Ikebukuro, and their passionate creative endeavors led to the area being called "Ikebukuro Montparnasse," likening it to Montparnasse in Paris, France. This project aims to make Ikebukuro a place where artists can connect and expand their circle of activities, as it once was, by disseminating exhibition plans for Toshima Ward's culture and art and for currently active artists.

This exhibition will feature works by Kiko Kimura and her fellow artists, who created the main visual for the "21st Ikebukuro Montparnasse Art Tour" to be held in spring and autumn 2026.

Ms. Kimura has previously held three group exhibitions titled "Ami." at Gallery KAMON Irie in Nishi-Ikebukuro, a participating gallery of the Art Tour. This time, it is a traveling exhibition of the "Ami." exhibition.

Please enjoy the works of five contemporary artists who met in the "land of Ikebukuro Montparnasse" at the venue. (*Ami means friend in French.)
