Founded in Okayama in 2006, Torishuu is a takeout-only specialty store for skewer-roasted chicken celebrating its 20th anniversary in August last year.
Chicken roasted in rotisserie ovens (rotating roasters) loses excess fat during the process, while the dripping fat underneath is collected and reabsorbed, creating a rich, concentrated flavor despite the simple seasoning.
