Toray Industries has developed technology to control the pore size of PMMA porous fibers in a range from a few nm to approximately 1,000nm. This enables the selective adsorption of pathogenic substances associated with intractable diseases such as autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular metabolic diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, and cancer.
