About SusHi Tech TOKYO 2026
SusHi Tech TOKYO, including its predecessor City-Tech Tokyo, is now in its fourth year. The event focuses on themes such as AI, Robotics, Resilience, and Entertainment, showcasing cutting-edge technologies from Tokyo to the world.
In 2025, 607 startups exhibited, and 57,698 participants from 100 countries visited.
Through this opportunity to experience the 'possibilities of movement' via our 'GENCHI' service, we aim to expand our online transportation network worldwide by 2029.
What is the Avatar Service 'GENCHI'?
Have you ever given up on going somewhere you wanted to go?
If you could teleport, where would you go?
If you could exist in two places at once, what would you do there?
'GENCHI' is a future-oriented transportation platform service that provides new options and possibilities for movement, allowing users to achieve their goals through simulated teleportation online.
A major benefit of moving via 'GENCHI' is that anyone can easily teleport through a browser to achieve their objectives, even if they don't know anyone at the destination. For example, from home or office, you can shop (immersive commerce), socialize, participate in exhibitions and events, perform sales, support, or repairs. The system works by matching your request on the web platform with registered workers on-site who act as your 'clone.' Using smartphones or other devices, it simulates sight, hearing, and touch (partially), allowing you to achieve goals using their limbs.
Simulated Teleportation from SusHi Tech Tokyo Venue to Sendai, Osaka, etc.!
At our exhibition booth, we plan to conduct a demonstration where you can experience simulated teleportation from the SusHi Tech Tokyo venue to Osaka or Sendai, about 500km away, using 'GENCHI.'
Visitors can use joystick buttons or microphones provided at the booth to give instructions to workers stationed in various locations. For instance, you can make your face appear on the worker's smartphone, 'teleport' to Osaka in real-time, purchase items at a shop, or interact with local people. Please experience the potential of this new movement experience at the venue. (Typical uses include remote participation in exhibitions, exhibiting, socializing, sales, support, and repairs.)
