Topy Industries Renews 'DX Certified Operator' Status from Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry

Topy Industries, Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiromi Ishii; hereinafter "Topy Industries") renewed its certification as a "DX Certified Operator" based on the DX Certification System established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) on June 1, 2026.

The DX Certification System is a program where METI certifies companies that meet the basic requirements of the "Digital Governance Code" and are prepared to promote DX, as defined under the "Act on Facilitation of Information Processing." Topy Industries first obtained DX certification in June 2022, and this is its second renewal following the one in June 2024. This renewal reflects recognition of Topy Industries' DX strategy meeting the criteria, alongside its efforts in developing DX talent and strengthening data and AI utilization.

Regarding Topy Industries Group's DX Strategy

In its mid-term management plan, "TOPY Active & Challenge 2027," Topy Industries Group positions "further promotion of DX" as one of the key themes of its sustainability strategy. By enhancing and optimizing work and processes through DX, the company is strengthening its management foundation through production innovation, advanced quality management, and manufacturing reforms to support human capital.

To date, the company has implemented measures such as refreshing core business systems, visualizing energy consumption, and implementing smart factory initiatives at production sites. Currently, the company uses a company-wide data utilization base called the "Data-Driven Platform" to centralize the management of operational, energy, and quality data, while promoting AI utilization. This is accelerating idea generation and new value creation across organizational boundaries.

Furthermore, the company is training 600 DX specialists to lead DX efforts and is enhancing data literacy among personnel, equipping them with digital knowledge and a mindset for data utilization. Simultaneously, it places information security as the foundation for enhancing corporate value and is promoting reinforcement measures throughout the group.
