Lisa Larson
Born on September 9, 1931, in southern Sweden. After studying at the University of Gothenburg's HDK-Valand, she joined Gustavsberg at the invitation of Stig Lindberg, the art director. She became a central designer during the company's golden age. In 1952, she married painter Gunnar Larson. She went freelance in 1980 and worked with many clients. Since the 2000s, a collaboration with Tonkachi Co., Ltd. (Japan) began, leading to a global re-breakthrough. In 2022, she was awarded a medal by the government for her outstanding work. She passed away on March 11, 2024.
