Factory Cafe CO-BA by TOMOYASU SEISAKUSYO, a cafe and shop operated by Tomoyasu Seisakusyo (Headquarters: Yao, Osaka; President: Hironori Tomoyasu), will celebrate its first anniversary on June 28, 2026. To commemorate this milestone, the cafe will host a week-long anniversary festival from June 22 (Monday) to June 28 (Sunday), featuring manufacturing workshops, factory tours, and other activities.

About Factory Cafe CO-BA by TOMOYASU SEISAKUSYO

Opened on June 28, 2025, in Kyuhoji, Yao City, Osaka, the cafe was created as an "organic cafe that connects makers' passions."

The interior, a full renovation of a former office space adjacent to the manufacturing plant, is furnished with handmade fixtures and furniture produced by the company, allowing customers to experience the company's craftsmanship firsthand while enjoying their meals.

The menu features additive-free, organic ingredients, including vegetables and fruits grown near Yao City with minimal pesticide use.

The name "CO-BA" (pronounced "koba") carries a dual meaning: the "factory" (koba) of manufacturing and a "place for intersection" (ko-ba) where people meet. The cafe fosters connections with local farmers, creators, and customers while providing safe and healthy meals that are "good for the body."

About the 1st Anniversary Event

In gratitude for customer support over the past year, the cafe will host the "Factory Cafe CO-BA 1st Anniversary Festival." The event will feature limited-edition menu items, workshops, and factory tours to help customers better appreciate the charm of the shop.

- Workshop: "Making Carabiner Keychains"

Participants will create original keychains by bending brass wires to make a carabiner and attaching a tassel made from scrap curtain fabric from the company's own production line.

Handmade brass goods are representative of the company's craftsmanship. Everyone from children to adults is welcome to participate.

- 1st Anniversary Limited Lunch Plate

To celebrate the anniversary, a special lunch plate will be offered, combining favorites like the "Colors Salad Plate" and "CO-BA One Plate."

The salad features abundant organic vegetables from Yao City. The main course is "Chicken Marsala," pairing domestic "Imo-dori" chicken with a homemade sauce. The dessert is a "Black Sesame Soy Milk Pudding" made with local ingredients from Yao producers "Wadaman" and "Mameichi." The meal includes a drink, making it a luxurious commemorative plate.
