About CUMO
It is an apron brand operating in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture.
Under the concept of 'THE IDEAL GARMENT FOR PLAY AND WORK', they continue to manufacture products taking advantage of the production background unique to Kojima, a production center for clothing such as jeans, work clothes, and uniforms.
Particularly by incorporating fabrics and sewing methods unique to jeans and casual wear into many of their products, they create many aprons that, like jeans, increase in character the more they are used and can be enjoyed as they age.

Background of the CUMO × TERAS Collaboration
This project began when an overcoat (Haori) crafted by CUMO, which mainly develops aprons, caught our eye, and we consulted them about a special order.
We were strongly attracted to the fact that the attention to detail residing in each part was directly expressed in the visual. It features the use of domestic selvedge denim, a design inspired by Samue (monk's working clothes), and a beautiful silhouette created by calculated patterns. Ingenuity has been applied to the sewing and details, resulting in a garment that allows the wearer to enjoy its aging through repeated use.
This collaboration was realized as it resonated with TERAS's philosophy of 'Using it beautifully for a long time'.
● CUMO × TERAS JAPAN 'DENIM SASHIKO HAORI'
It is a unique product that skillfully combines high-quality materials with the warmth of handwork using Sashiko.
The silhouette with the center of gravity at the back when worn is characteristic, and the design that allows it to be thrown on lightly leads to comfort. It is a highly rare product packed with the attention to detail that only small-batch production can offer.
