25 Years with Shibuya: Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel's 25th Anniversary Commemorative Programs Begin with Gratitude

Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; General Manager Shinichi Yoshioka) will celebrate its 25th anniversary on Sunday, May 24, 2026. As Japan's first high-rise tower hotel of the 21st century, Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel has welcomed domestic and international guests for a quarter-century at the heart of Shibuya, an ever-evolving city, steadily making progress. We express our sincere gratitude to all our cherished guests, local residents, business partners, and all other stakeholders. To show our appreciation, we will sequentially hold various events and fairs to commemorate our 25th anniversary. On May 24 itself, a lobby concert and a dinner event at Towers Restaurant 'Cucagna' will be held. Furthermore, on July 7, a one-night-only special banquet featuring garçons, sommeliers, and chefs will take place in the ballroom, among many other commemorative programs we are preparing.

Our Journey So Far

With the wish to be 'a refreshing and pleasant space like the blue sky,' and 'a hub for international exchange connecting Japan and the world globally, just as people worldwide share the sky,' Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel opened on May 24, 2001, when the city of Shibuya was also known as 'Bit Valley.' It has been favored as a venue for international conferences, corporate events, and cultural happenings in the diverse city of Shibuya, and as a community hotel by global companies and local communities concentrated in Shibuya. Recently, Shibuya has grown into Tokyo's most popular city for international visitors. Our hotel's services, which cater diligently to both business and leisure needs, its high-rise views, the serene and elegant space that makes you forget you are in the city center, and its exquisite cuisine emphasizing seasonal ingredients, have received high acclaim from many guests. The hotel also houses cultural facilities such as the 'Cerulean Tower Noh Theater,' which promotes traditional Japanese culture both domestically and internationally, and the jazz club 'JZ Brat SOUND OF TOKYO,' where guests can enjoy high-quality cuisine and a rich drink menu alongside live performances. These facilities symbolize Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel's positioning as a hub for culture and exchange, not merely a place to stay.

The logo mark, entrusted with this sentiment, takes the motif of a 'wax seal,' a mark of authenticity, embodying the promise to our guests to 'continue aiming for heights and evolving.' Behind it, the silhouette of the iconic tower, a landmark of Shibuya, is placed. At first glance, its ribbon-like appearance expresses that the hotel is supported by 'people' – our guests and associates*1.
