Matsue Excel Hotel Tokyu (Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture; General Manager: Fumiyuki Ishitobi) will hold a special event, "Strawberry Sweet Fair ~2days Special Edition~," for two days only on May 5, 2026 (Tuesday/Holiday) and May 10 (Sunday), at its 1st-floor restaurant "MOSORO."

The "Strawberry Sweet Fair" held this spring will appear as a "special version." In addition to approximately 27 types of strawberry sweets and light meals, "small experiences" are offered for guests to enjoy finishing themselves, making their time at the hotel a more memorable one.

In the season when early summer is in the air, the hotel will wholeheartedly assist guests in creating "one-of-a-kind" memories with their loved ones.

Gorgeous Strawberry Sweet Fair

The venue will feature approximately 27 types of menus, centered around splendid strawberry sweets. In addition to strawberry sweets such as shortcakes, tarts, roll cakes, and mille-feuille, refreshing desserts like blancmange will also be available. At the live kitchen, you can also enjoy the popular "Brûlée French Toast," which is caramelized right in front of you.

A White Plate as a Canvas: "Omelet Art," One of a Kind in the World (Limited to May 5)

At the live kitchen, chefs will cook golden omelets right before your eyes. You can use this freshly made dish as a canvas to freely decorate it with ketchup and colorful accompanying vegetables. This "one-of-a-kind plate" is completed by adding your sensibility to the omelet prepared by the hotel chef. It's an experience that will bring a sense of "playfulness" to both children and adults. Staff will also assist with commemorative photos of your finished work.

"Message Cookies" to Convey Gratitude and Wishes (Limited to May 10)

A special corner will be set up where you can draw messages and illustrations on cookies using food pens (edible ink pens). You can present them on the spot with words like "Thank you," or take them home in a special wrapping bag. This allows both children and adults to easily enjoy expressing their daily feelings.

The theme is "Shimane-ness felt with the five senses," creating a space where Shimane's essence can be experienced not only through food but also visually. Each private room is themed after Oki, Izumo, and Iwami, while the main area expresses the atmosphere of Matsue Castle town through its interior. It is one of the few restaurants in San'in where you can enjoy a live kitchen.
