Tokyu Group Companies Participate and Continue Community-Rooted Activities with Locals! "Tokyu-kai" Monthly Activity TOPICS - March Issue

■ In February 2026, six sports promotion and environmental conservation activities were conducted! We report on activities from two regions this month.

Held the "Ibaraki Tokyu Cup: Ibaraki Prefecture Mom's Volleyball Spring Tournament"
Approximately 80 teams (about 1,000 players) participated in this 24th annual tournament.

[Tama Tokyu-kai]
"TOKYU MUSIC PROGRAM: 8th Asia University Regional Family Concert"
Held a concert where attendees could experience the "joy of music" for free with the Asia University Wind Orchestra and others.

Tokyu-kai: 23 domestic and 4 overseas regions (as of September 2025).
In each region, Tokyu-kai deepens friendship among group companies while mutually cooperating to fulfill corporate social responsibilities through community-rooted social contribution activities, serving as a bridge connecting the local community and the Tokyu Group.

Tokyu-kai Monthly Activity Report
In February 2026, Tokyu-kai carried out six activities including "environmental conservation," "culture, arts, and sports promotion," and "welfare and education." This month, we report on the activities of "Ibaraki Tokyu-kai" and "Tama Tokyu-kai."
"Ibaraki Tokyu-kai" held the 24th "Ibaraki Tokyu Cup: Ibaraki Prefecture Mom's Volleyball Spring Tournament." Approximately 80 teams (about 1,000 players) participated in heated matches, and the costume parade, a staple of the final tournament, was a great success. "Tama Tokyu-kai" held the "TOKYU MUSIC PROGRAM: 8th Asia University Regional Family Concert" free of charge to share the enjoyment of culture and music. Held at a familiar location, the Asia University Auditorium, the Asia University Wind Orchestra and the "Virtu-Leaver Society" (volunteers among alumni) performed a wide range of genres, delivering a "musical experience" to many customers.

[Ibaraki Tokyu-kai: Ibaraki Tokyu Cup - Ibaraki Prefecture Mom's Volleyball Spring Tournament]

Location: Preliminaries - Kasamatsu Sports Park Gymnasium, Ishioka Sports Park Gymnasium / Finals - Seibu Comprehensive Park Gymnasium
Participants: Approx. 80 teams (approx. 1,000 people)
Activity Report: Every year, about 80 teams (approx. 1,000 people) participate in tournament-style matches divided into four age-based divisions, aiming to win the "Ibaraki Tokyu Cup." It was clear many players had prepared for the tournament, and passionate cheering was seen everywhere. The costume parade, a staple of the final tournament, was very exciting, and the bento boxes provided as participation prizes were very well received by the players.
Staff Comment: Hiroko Ochiai, Tokyu Resorts & Stay Co., Ltd. - We were worried about the forecast of snow, but thanks to the passion of all the players, we were able to hold the tournament safely. Many participants have been competing for many years, and we received many warm words such as "it's our annual pleasure," "please continue this in the future," and "thank you for the delicious bento as always." We will continue to strive to make this a tournament that contributes to the community as a fun event where we can interact with many people through volleyball, a lifelong sport.

[Tama Tokyu-kai: TOKYU MUSIC PROGRAM - 8th Asia University Regional Family Concert]
Date: February 8 (Sun)
Location: Asia University Building 3 Auditorium
Participants: Customers approx. 1,000, Performers approx. 200
Activity Report: Aiming to share the joy of culture and music, we held a concert where people could enjoy music for free in a familiar place. Despite the unfortunate weather that day, many customers, including families, attended. We were able to deliver a "musical experience" to not only those who enjoy music daily, but also to people of all ages who are not very familiar with brass bands.
Staff Comment: Fumiyoshi Takeuchi, Tokyu Department Store Co., Ltd. - We held a family concert centered on the Asia University Wind Orchestra and alumni volunteers known as the "Virtu-Leaver Society," which was a great success last year as well. Despite the severe weather with snow starting the day before, many families attended. Members dressed as characters performed popular anime theme songs with dances, making it a true family concert. As Tama Tokyu-kai, we will continue to work on various projects to be loved by the local community.

This Month's Pickup Tokyu-kai: [Kagoshima Tokyu-kai] Member count: 3 companies
Kagoshima Tokyu-kai is composed of three group companies in Kagoshima Prefecture. Every year, they conduct the "Traffic Orphan Scholarship & Compassionate Welfare Fund Campaign," which reached its 27th year in 2026. They also sponsor the Japan Women's Tennis Federation Kagoshima Branch by holding the "Kagoshima Tokyu-kai Cup" tennis tournament every December. Additionally, they continue to contribute to the community through activities such as local cleanup and greening.
Staff Comment: Kenichi Tsuru, Tokyu Community Corp. - Kagoshima Tokyu-kai is engaged in community activities in the land of Kagoshima, surrounded by Sakurajima, Kinko Bay, and magnificent nature. In the scenery that is our pride as residents, the daily changing expressions of Sakurajima, and the soft sunlight illuminating the city, I feel the charm, energy, and great potential of this land once again. I realize that the accumulation of continuous efforts such as the "Traffic Orphan Scholarship & Compassionate Welfare Fund Campaign" (27th year), the "Kagoshima Tokyu-kai Cup," and local cleanups leads to warm connections and trust with the community. Many predecessors who have been involved in Kagoshima Tokyu-kai's activities have cherished the feelings for the region, connections between people, and a sincere attitude for many years. We will take over these feelings firmly and strive to create new value together with the local people and connect it to the next generation.

Basic Information
The Origins of Tokyu-kai: Around 1963, employees of various Tokyu Group companies in the Sapporo and Kansai regions spontaneously formed groups to exchange information and deepen friendships. This is considered the beginning of Tokyu-kai. Later, as group businesses expanded, Tokyu-kai chapters were launched in each region. Around 1980, Tokyu-kai was formally organized, and the Tokyu-kai Federation was established as a national organization. "The horizontal connections and cohesion of the Tokyu Group are strong. It is a group capable of mutual aid, where even a single piece of information can be utilized from various angles. Tokyu-kai is an asset unique to the Tokyu Group that does not appear on the balance sheet." This was recorded as words of Noboru Gotoh, the Tokyu Group Chairman at the time, around 1980. For over half a century since its inception, Tokyu-kai has continued its activities without interruption while reorganizing its structure in line with changes in social conditions.
