The "Kamo Tomato Bloody Mary," made with "Kamo Tomato," a Kamogawa vegetable with a slight acidity and refreshing taste, uses "Kisetsu no Utsukushi," a dry gin from Kyoto, instead of vodka. We serve it with Kyoto's Kotoihama salt and "Kuro Shichimi," a spice seasoning, as an accent. The "UMAMI SOUR" is a Sevillian cocktail themed around "umami," using Japanese sake from Kyoto, "Black Mirin" from Kanazawa's Fukumitsuya, and "Japanese Bitters" made from domestic Japanese ingredients as a hidden ingredient. Changing its form with the times, it has been passed down as an important event for the people of Kyoto. In addition to appreciating the Gion Festival, which symbolizes the history and traditional culture of Kyoto, we offer a special opportunity for guests to deeply experience the traditional culture of Kyoto with the geisha of Kyoto's oldest pleasure quarter, Kamishichiken, and the craftsmen of Tsujikura, Japan's oldest washi umbrella shop, through a plan limited to guests staying at the hotel.

About ROKU KYOTO, LXR Hotels & Resorts
ROKU KYOTO was born inspired by the spirit of the art village that once existed in Takao, a historic land where Kyoto's artists gathered and cultivated unique culture. Located at the foot of the three peaks of Takao, collectively referred to as "Takaomine," "Washimine," and "Amamine," and surrounded by a tranquil and rich natural environment with the Tenjin River flowing through the grounds, the hotel's name is derived from the history of this land where paper-making seats existed in the Heian period. Under the tagline "Dive into Kyoto," we invite you to experience the essence of Kyoto by immersing yourself in its profound history, culture, and nature. The interior design was handled by BLINK Design Group, which has created numerous luxury hotels in some of the world's top resort destinations, and we have created a space that reinterprets the traditional beauty of Kyoto in a modern way, drawing inspiration from Honami Koetsu's art village. As a brand signature of LXR Hotels & Resorts, we offer a wealth of activities. Through these experience programs, we carefully weave in the stories and spirituality that breathe in this land, offering a unique luxury experience that allows you to touch culture and tradition and relax your mind and body.
Since its opening in 2021, ROKU KYOTO has been supported by many customers and has continued to grow. This time, we will celebrate our 5th anniversary in September 2026. We have prepared various plans to commemorate the anniversary. We will inform you of the details in due course.
