Summer W Support Campaign: Up to 8,000 Yen Discount on Electricity Bills Starting June 8, 2026

Tokyu Power Supply Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuhide Mishiro; hereinafter "Tokyu Power Supply") will launch the "Summer W Support Campaign" (hereinafter "the Campaign") starting Monday, June 8, 2026, offering a total discount of up to 8,000 yen*1 on electricity bills for applications to Tokyu Electricity & Gas.

According to the Japan Weather Association, this summer is also forecast to be extremely hot*2, leading to expected increases in electricity demand for air conditioning and other uses. Additionally, prolonged instability in Iran and the Middle East is causing fuel prices to soar, raising concerns that household burdens will be greater than usual.

This campaign is designed to double-support customers by alleviating summer electricity costs and encouraging a switch to renewable energy. During the campaign period, anyone who applies for the electricity service of Tokyu Electricity & Gas will automatically receive a discount of 8,000 yen*1 on their electricity bill.

From June 2026, Tokyu Power Supply has set an upper limit on the market-linked rate unit price for the "Life Fit Plan" to allow customers to use it with greater peace of mind. Furthermore, "Tokyu Electricity" supplied by Tokyu Power Supply is effectively 100% renewable energy at no additional cost, making it easy to switch to renewable energy.

*1: A discount of 2,000 yen (total 8,000 yen) will be applied to the usage fee for four months starting from the month of supply commencement. (For customers also using gas service, the discount applies to the combined amount.) If the monthly usage fee is less than 2,000 yen, the remaining amount will be carried over to subsequent months.
