Tokyu Fudosan Corporation (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroaki Hoshino), Odakyu Real Estate Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Shu Igarashi), and Tokyu Corporation (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Masahiro Horie), participating as association members and participating members with the Noborito Station Area Urban Redevelopment Association, announce that the "Noborito Station Area Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project," which they are jointly promoting, received approval for its rights conversion plan from the Mayor of Kawasaki on March 19, 2026, and that new construction has begun.
This project is a redevelopment initiative that integrates and develops an area of approximately 0.6 hectares within a portion of Block 90 in the "Kawasaki City Planning Project Noborito Land Readjustment Project" implemented by Kawasaki City. The area around Noborito and Mukogaoka-Yuen stations is positioned as a "regional lifestyle hub," and the planned site located in front of Noborito Station plays a role in strengthening the formation of a hub in front of the station and enhancing the appeal of the entire town by connecting the "station (Noborito Station)," the "town (local residents and regional resources)," and the "outside (visitors)."
Aiming for completion in FY2029, we will create a new hub that enhances the liveliness and convenience of the region, such as improving transportation convenience through connection with the station and creating a station-front space appropriate for the gateway to the surrounding area.
### ■ Features of This Project
**(1) Development of a Pedestrian Network**
By developing a pedestrian deck that flatly connects the station and the planned site, as well as installing high-convenience, barrier-free elevating functions and a sidewalk-like open space that contributes to a comfortable walking environment, we will form a safe and comfortable pedestrian network that connects the "station" and the "town."
**(2) Creation of an Attractive Station-Front Hub**
We will arrange commercial and plaza functions that will become the "core of liveliness," tourism support functions that will serve as a base for transmitting regional resources, childcare support functions, and urban housing corresponding to multi-generational and diverse lifestyles. By harmonizing each function, we aim to form a hub appropriate for the gateway to the surrounding area.
**(3) Formation of a Regional Disaster Prevention Activity Base**
By developing plazas, facilities for people unable to return home, disaster stockpiling warehouses, and private power generation equipment, we aim to form a regional disaster prevention activity base that implements disaster response measures not only for residents and facility users but also for local residents, visitors, and others.
### ■ Pedestrian Deck Directly Connected to 'Noborito Station'
We have appointed Ney & Partners Japan to design the pedestrian deck that seamlessly connects the newly created station-front hub with Noborito Station. It features an open structural design that creates a new "connection" within the town, integrating with the regional resources Noborito possesses, such as Ikuta Ryokuchi and the Tama River, and the lush green station-front plaza. Through an alignment that gently draws an arc, it forms a structure supported by columns on only one side...
