Tokyo News Service, Ltd., publisher of entertainment magazines such as 'TV Guide' and 'TV Guide PERSON,' announced a reprint of actor Hirofumi Araki's photobook 'History' due to robust sales. It is available at bookstores nationwide and online. A celebratory event will be held on his birthday, June 14.

Hirofumi Araki Photobook 'History' (Published by Tokyo News Service, Ltd.)

Hirofumi Araki, known for his roles in the 'Touken Ranbu' musical, 'Mononoke' stage play, and the 'Fate/Zero' musical series, and currently serving as the Tourism Ambassador for Tamba City, Hyogo Prefecture, is a prominent actor in numerous 2.5D stage productions. His photobook 'History,' which he produced himself to commemorate his 15th anniversary in 2020, is being reprinted due to its enduring popularity. (Note: The actor's stage name at the time of the book's release was Hirofumi Araki; he changed it in June 2023.)

This compilation, which has garnered support from both long-time and new fans, features the actor's own styling for all outfits, as well as various ideas incorporated into both location and studio photo sessions.

The book also includes a long interview reflecting on his 15-year career and conversations with four people close to him: Mitsuru Matsuoka, with whom he has a close relationship as an artist; Koji Seto, whom he considers his 'first junior' and trusts deeply; and Tsubasa Sakiyama, with whom he built a relationship 'closer to kin' through collaborations on 'Ochanomizu Rock' and 'YuYu Hakusho.' The actor's own ideas are infused throughout the photography to match the world of the photobook. The book also reflects on the sessions through a conversation with photographer MARCO.

Furthermore, the book features a 2D collaboration where illustrators and manga artists who designed the characters for the stage productions Araki performed in—such as 'Meiji Tokyo Renka,' 'Touken Ranbu,' and 'ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.'—have drawn 'Hirofumi Araki' himself.
