Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Taito-ku, Tokyo; President: Akihiro Kosaka) announced that from April 2026 to March 2027, it will display manner posters produced by the Metro Cultural Foundation (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Masaru Honda) inside stations and trains, calling for cooperation in improving manners so that all passengers can use the subway comfortably.

For the 2026 fiscal year, the manner posters will feature the slogan 'Come on, good manners today too!' and will introduce examples of good manners to keep in mind through illustrations and copy, creating accessible and easy-to-understand posters for everyone.

In April, the theme will be 'rushing onto the train,' and from May onwards, the posters will feature various themes each month, such as manners regarding carry-on baggage and walking while using smartphones.

The illustrations are by Taro Miura, an artist who has been selected multiple times for the Bologna Children's Book Fair and has published picture books overseas. Among his works, 'Kuttsuita' (Stuck Together) has become a million-seller with over one million copies sold, garnering widespread support.

By adding a bright and cheerful touch to color the insides of trains and stations, the campaign aims to catch the eyes of passengers and heighten their interest in public manners.
