In this rating, the Company received high evaluations for the following points:

(1) Under a system centered on the Sustainability Management Promotion Committee, with top management at its head, the Company integrates management strategy and environmental strategy. It has clarified materialities, including environmental aspects, and 2030 targets, as stated in its long-term vision "TOKYO ink Vision 2030," to achieve business portfolio transformation. (2) As a foundation for creating environmental value, the Company is promoting the reduction of environmental load in production activities. It has established an effective system, centered on the Environment and Safety Committee, to achieve medium- to long-term targets for GHG emission reduction, including promoting energy-saving activities utilizing company-wide environmental data analysis and expanding the introduction of renewable energy.

(3) Towards "providing value to a sustainable society through products and services," which is identified as a materiality, the Company has newly established sustainable products and built a certification process centered on a roadmap review team. It is also promoting product development based on customer environmental needs and exploring new technologies and business areas, while quantitatively demonstrating the environmental load reduction effects of developed products, thereby achieving both improved business competitiveness and environmental value creation.

As a result, the Company received the highest rating, "particularly advanced initiatives in environmental considerations."
