HIBIYA LIVE FESTIVAL 2026 Announces Lineup to Energize Hibiya During Golden Week! Opening Act: Musical "Sister Act"!

Musicza Musical's representative work "Mademoiselle Mozart", popular 2.5D works, and the musical "The Moriarty the Patriot" are among the featured highlights! Also, original musical shows, opera concerts, ballet, and more diverse stage live performances will be held!

Tokyo Midtown Hibiya (Chiyoda-ku, Yurakucho; Operator: Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd.) will hold "HIBIYA LIVE FESTIVAL 2026," an urban festival where visitors can enjoy live experiences of performing arts and music under the open air in Hibiya, from Saturday, April 25 to Sunday, May 31. We are pleased to announce the lineup for the "Step Show," which will be held primarily during the Golden Week period.

The main content, "Step Show," will feature numerous acclaimed, popular, and new stage productions that are usually only seen in theaters. On the opening day, the opening act will be the musical "Sister Act," starring Kumiko Mori and Sakina Ayakaze in a W cast. In addition, enjoy showcase stages of popular works such as the beloved musical "Peter Pan," enjoyable for all ages; the popular 2.5D work based on a hit manga, "The Moriarty the Patriot," returning for another year; and Musicza Musical's representative work, "Mademoiselle Mozart." Original musical shows exclusive to "HIBIYA LIVE FESTIVAL" will also be performed. Furthermore, we will deliver a variety of theater entertainment stages, including special concerts by Nissei Theatre and Fujiwara Opera, and NBA Ballet's "Le Corsaire."

"Step Show" offers a variety of authentic entertainment in various genres for free. Masterpieces, popular works, and new productions from various stage genres such as musicals, operas, and ballets will appear on a special covered stage, installed for the first time this year. It is a special program where anyone can easily experience performances, usually seen only in theaters, in the open atmosphere of Hibiya, with all-standing admission.

Musical "Sister Act" April 25 (Sat) This work, based on the hit movie "Sister Act," was first performed in Japan in 2014 and has been revived multiple times. This year marks its return after two years with new cast members. This stage will feature a talk session with Kumiko Mori and Sakina Ayakaze, who will play Deloris in a W cast, and Kumiko Mori and other sisters powerfully performing numbers from the show.

"JR. Musical Special Medley" April 26 (Sun) A special program by "Chance8," a child musical company led by Seijiro Ma, an actor active in theaters like Gekidan Shiki. We will deliver energetic numbers from children performing popular movies adapted into junior musicals such as "Into the Woods JR." and "Madagascar JR."

"Sonosuke Hattori's "Lantern Keeper Radio"" Live Recording April 26 (Sun) "Sonosuke Hattori's Lantern Keeper Radio," currently broadcast on interfm, will have its first live recording. A dramatic reading performance filled with realism will be presented. "Reporter Kanae Nagaoka gains the ability to hear the voice of 'Lantern Keeper,' a spirit dwelling in lighthouses, after a certain incident. Tonight, she travels to the edge of the land to record the solitary memories hidden within the lighthouse..." The live recording will feature a guest voice actor who played the 63rd Lantern Keeper, offering behind-the-scenes stories only heard here.
