Recruiting SMEs for Expansion Support Program to Texas, USA and NRW, Germany until July 31, 2026

The Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center (Chairman: Mitsuchika Tarao) is accepting applications until July 31, 2026, for a support program aimed at Tokyo-based SMEs looking to establish bases in Texas, USA, and NRW, Germany. This program provides comprehensive support through information sharing via local networks and hands-on guidance from experienced experts. Global navigators with extensive experience in international expansion will work closely with companies on tasks ranging from identifying management challenges and setting goals to reviewing negotiation materials and creating English presentation videos. Texas is the second-largest economy in the US, with booming energy and high-tech sectors. Meanwhile, NRW, Germany, is one of Europe's largest economic regions, playing a vital role in accessing the European market. Support includes kickoff meetings, hands-on guidance, expert consultations on finance, tax, and legal matters, and networking opportunities including local visits. The center covers the initial consultation fee. Eligible applicants must be SMEs with a registered head office or branch in Tokyo, and selection is subject to a screening process.
