—6th Emergency Countermeasure Project for Soaring Prices of Extra-High Voltage Electricity and Industrial LP Gas for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises— Supporting SMEs and others using "Extra-High Voltage Electricity" and "Industrial LP Gas"!

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center are implementing an emergency countermeasure project utilizing local government grants to provide priority support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and others affected by the soaring prices of extra-high voltage electricity and industrial LP gas, with the aim of reducing their financial burden.

We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 6th round of this support grant.

1. Application Period

・ Application Period: From Thursday, April 9, 2026, to Monday, August 31, 2026

・ Application Method: Online application (Applications by mail are also accepted)

The application form and required documents will be made available starting Thursday, April 9.

3. Eligibility

・ SMEs and others that directly receive extra-high voltage electricity*1 at facilities within Tokyo.

・ SMEs and others that are tenants in facilities within Tokyo that receive extra-high voltage electricity*1.

・ SMEs and others that conduct business using industrial LP gas*2 within Tokyo.

*1 Refers to a contract with a power demand of 2,000 kW or more and a supply voltage of 20,000 V (20 kV) or higher. However, even if the contract demand is less than 2,000 kW, it is eligible if an extra-high voltage electricity contract can be verified.

*2 Refers to liquefied petroleum gas used for industrial purposes that is subject to the High Pressure Gas Safety Act.

4. Support Details

(1) Extra-high voltage electricity (direct receipt): 5 million yen per location

(2) Extra-high voltage electricity (tenant): 100,000 yen per location

(3) Industrial LP gas: 100,000 yen per location

5. Target Period and Application Requirements

[6th Round] For the period from January to June 2026

*SMEs and others with at least 3 months of usage records during the above target period are eligible for support.

*You may apply even if you have received this support grant in previous rounds.
