The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion Corporation have been implementing the "Equipment Investment Support Program for Advanced Business Promotion" since FY2021. This program provides subsidies for a portion of the costs required for introducing machinery and equipment to help small and medium-sized enterprises in Tokyo strengthen their competitiveness through "qualitative improvement of products and services" and expand their production capacity by promoting productivity improvements.
