What is the 'New Product/New Technology Development Subsidy Program'?
This program aims to strengthen technological capabilities and foster new business areas by subsidizing a portion of the expenses incurred by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Tokyo for the research and development of new products and technologies, thereby revitalizing Tokyo's industries.

Key Points
1. Subsidies of up to ¥25 million. Direct labor costs are also eligible. Eligible expenses include a wide range of costs such as labor costs for personnel directly involved in the R&D process, raw materials for prototypes, and costs for machinery, equipment, tools, and instruments.
2. Subsidy ratio expanded to up to 4/5. If a wage increase plan is formulated and implemented, the subsidy ratio will be expanded from the usual 1/2 to 3/4 for SMEs and 4/5 for small businesses.
3. Electronic application accepted. Applications will be accepted through the electronic application system 'J-Grants' provided by the government. ※ To use J-Grants, you must obtain a 'G-BizID Prime Account' in advance.
