This project aims to provide parents and other adults with an opportunity to learn about the importance of biodiversity and connect it to actions they can take in their homes and daily lives, at a time when children have fewer opportunities to interact with nature. On the day of the event, through a keynote lecture by an expert, we will provide an opportunity to understand the impact on our lives and children's futures if living creatures and natural connections are lost.

Furthermore, children who participated in the pre-event nature experience will present their learnings and insights to adults, creating an opportunity for adults to consider their own actions.

In addition, the exhibition will provide a space to learn about the current state of biodiversity, initiatives by the national and Tokyo governments, and specific actions that can be taken at home in an enjoyable way.

After the event, surveys and follow-up research will be conducted to expand home practices to communities, companies, and educational institutions, leading to the creation of a nature-positive society.

About the Organizing Body

We, the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry (hereinafter referred to as "Tokyo JC"), were founded in 1949 (Showa 24) by young people who shared the aspiration that "the reconstruction of a new Japan is the work of youth," amidst the deep scars of war that remained in the city and people's hearts.

Since then, Tokyo JC has advocated the philosophy of "realizing a bright and prosperous society" and has carried out various activities and movements. Tokyo JC is composed of members who have joined based on their free individual will, regardless of race, nationality, gender, occupation, or religion.

The Japan Junior Chamber, Inc. bases its activities on "individual training," "service to society," and "friendship with the world," and strives to enlighten and exchange among members, cultivate public spirit, and contribute to the development of society through collaboration with local communities, actively addressing social issues.

Having experienced various practical training within the Junior Chamber, our members are active in a wide range of fields. Including graduates who have retired upon reaching the age of 40, they are not only active as community leaders but have also produced many individuals who have gone on to serve in politics and business.
