[June 10, 2026 (Wed)] APICC (Asia Pacific International City Conference) to be held

The 'APICC (Asia Pacific International City Conference),' which brings together youth business leaders from 12 Junior Chamber (JCI) organizations in the Asia-Pacific region and other countries to Tokyo, will be held on June 10 (Wed) at 14:00 at the Akasaka Prince Classic House.

This conference is hosted by the Tokyo Junior Chamber (JCI Tokyo) with the objective of promoting international problem-solving and private-sector diplomacy through city-to-city cooperation.

APICC is an international city-to-city conference primarily organized by members of Junior Chambers in Asian capitals. It has been held for many years as a venue to deepen cooperation between cities at the private level.

Currently, labor shortages and job creation resulting from demographic decline are urgent issues common to many cities in the Asia-Pacific region. Exchange and trust have been built among these cities over many years. APICC aims to further develop these networks and realize stronger international cooperation through concrete actions and continuous dialogue at the private level.

APICC will feature panel discussions by representatives from each city and a signing ceremony for a joint declaration.

By creating an environment where participants can share challenges across cities and experience the importance of international cooperation, the conference aims to establish a sustainable cooperative framework that goes beyond being a mere exchange event.

Furthermore, the discussions will be documented and widely disseminated, leading to specific business creation and behavioral changes even after the conference. By fostering a network of next-generation leaders who think beyond national borders, it will serve as a platform contributing to the sustainable development of both local regions and the international community.

APICC is scheduled to be live-streamed from 14:00 on the Tokyo Junior Chamber's YouTube channel.
