'Live Blowfish Specialty Restaurant Torafugutei' was born in Shinjuku Kabukicho, Tokyo, in 1996. Our commitment to freshness—delivering domestic torafugu directly from production areas to our restaurants while they are still 'swimming'—has been supported by many customers.

Since then, we have expanded our area from Tokyo to Kanagawa, Saitama, and Chiba. We went public in 2006. Every store is equipped with live fish tanks, and skilled chefs prepare the fish only after an order is placed. Currently, we have grown to 39 locations, delivering luxurious moments to be savored alongside carefully selected ingredients.
