Tokyo Gas Selected as First Energy Provider for "SX Brands 2026"

Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. (President: Shinichi Sasayama, hereinafter "Tokyo Gas") announced today that it has been selected as the first energy provider for the "SX (Sustainability Transformation) Brands 2026*1" (hereinafter "SX Brands"), jointly chosen by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Tokyo Stock Exchange. This program selects and awards advanced companies that incorporate societal sustainability issues and needs into their growth, and promote long-term, sustainable corporate value creation through necessary management and business reforms. It was also recognized for its ability to execute by leveraging the strengths of its existing businesses to incrementally introduce advanced technologies such as e-methane, renewable energy, hydrogen, and CCUS*2, while ensuring its strategy aligns with KPIs and governance, and maintaining transparent information disclosure.
