Tokyo Dome Corporation (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President and COO: Tsutomu Nagaoka) has announced that it will host a new kickboxing tournament titled 'KORAKUEN JAMBULL' at Korakuen Hall on Sunday, September 27, 2026. 2026 marks the 60th anniversary of the first kickboxing event held in Japan. This tournament will be organized by Tokyo Dome, which has supported the sport for many years through 'Korakuen Hall,' and will serve as an unprecedented event bringing together various organizations that utilize the venue. Nine organizations have already announced their participation, with more expected to join in the future. A press conference was held at Korakuen Hall on Wednesday, March 25, featuring representatives from Tokyo Dome and eight of the nine participating organizations. The tournament will feature fighters who win qualifying rounds held during each organization's events from April to June, along with organizer-recommended fighters. Following a public draw in July, the main event will take place in September, transcending organizational boundaries. At the press conference, Yoshikazu Kitahara, Chairman and CEO of Tokyo Dome Corporation, stated, 'The stars of this event are the participating organizations and the athletes. We hope this tournament will serve as a catalyst for a major movement across the entire martial arts world.' Representatives from the participating organizations also spoke passionately about the 'isms'—the unique fighting philosophies and strengths that each organization has cherished.
