Tokyo Metropolitan Government Project: TOKYO Co-cial IMPACT Entry Program Recruitment Starts!!

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is implementing "TOKYO Co-cial IMPACT," a project that promotes collaboration between companies aiming for both "sustainability (social impact)" and "growth (economic return)" and local governments/large corporations, with the goal of solving social issues.

We are now starting recruitment for the "Entry Program," which provides lectures and practical workshops to help launch and grow businesses that aim to balance "sustainability" and "growth" through social issue resolution, and to acquire the necessary knowledge for local governments and others to collaborate with such companies.

## Program Features

* **Course System Tailored to Participant Attributes**
We offer three courses optimized for different participant attributes, all themed around solving social issues through business: a Support/Collaboration Partner course (Collaboration Promotion Course), an Aspiring Entrepreneur course (Entrepreneurship Preparation Course), and a Startup course (Growth Acceleration Course).

* **Provision of Latest Knowledge from Domain Experts**
You can attend free lectures by instructors with specialized knowledge in fields related to social entrepreneurship.

* **Ease of Learning and Real Connections**
The program is primarily conducted online, allowing participation regardless of location. Additionally, we provide offline opportunities for entrepreneurs to meet and interact directly with each other, as well as with supporters and stakeholders, fostering both learning and networking.

## Program Content

### Collaboration Promotion Course (for Local Governments, Companies, and Support Organizations)
This course offers lectures and workshops to acquire knowledge on public-private collaboration for solving various social issues. It specifically aims to promote collaboration with startups, which are expected to be key players in social issue resolution.
You will learn about pioneering examples of public-private collaboration and practical tips for concretely advancing partnerships with startups.
We encourage participation from local governments and companies that are new to collaborating with startups, as well as new staff members in organizations already engaged in startup collaboration.

### Entrepreneurship Preparation Course (for Aspiring Entrepreneurs)
This course is designed to help individuals transform their passion and awareness of social issues into a business that balances social and economic aspects. In addition to lectures by experienced entrepreneurs, it supports the concretization of business concepts and preparation for the next step towards entrepreneurship through topics such as understanding challenges, fundraising, business model thinking, and brainstorming sessions.

### Growth Acceleration Course (for Companies (those with established corporations))
This course is for startups aiming to balance social and economic aspects, providing a management perspective for growth. In addition to lectures by experienced entrepreneurs, participants will deepen their understanding of impact assessment, business development, sales strategies, organizational building, public relations, and engaging with investors, acquiring the mindset and practical knowledge necessary for business growth.
