The "TOKYO Co-cial IMPACT" project, implemented by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, aims to promote co-creation between companies striving for both "sustainability (social impact)" and "growth (economic return)" and local governments/large corporations, thereby solving social issues. This event will feature outcome reports from selected participants of the "Acceleration Program" and "Studio Program."

The "Acceleration Program," newly introduced in FY2025, provides diverse support to companies that are already offering products and services to the market, aiming for further growth. At this event, 5 selected companies will present. You can experience their strategies and practical knowledge on how they overcome challenges unique to the impact/social sector and aim to scale their businesses.

Deploying ultra-low-cost distributed communication infrastructure in over 600 rural villages in Africa. Providing education and financial services using credit scores derived from data utilization through its proprietary digital hub. Reducing information and opportunity gaps in African rural areas, realizing digital and financial inclusion. Aims to collaborate with impact investors and private companies considering entry into the African market.

Social implementation startup creating "new after-school experiences"
Integrating shuttle services and facility management, building next-generation infrastructure that transforms even travel time into learning opportunities. Optimizing regional education and transportation resources, aiming for the implementation of a mutual aid society that frees up childcare constraints. Envisions collaboration with local government transportation/education officials,習い事 (lesson) providers, and private after-school care providers.

Operation reform for industrial meal services and restaurant chains
Developing "integrated kitchen backend operations" that eliminate cooking processes from commercial kitchens. By managing the development, manufacturing, logistics, and kitchen operation design of pre-cooked frozen foods in a unified manner, it simultaneously solves labor shortages and quality issues for contract meal service companies. Envisions collaboration with major contract meal service companies facing labor shortages and cost issues, as well as manufacturing partners and supply chain companies.

Japan's first "delivery service that doesn't deliver goods"
Developing "Toriku," Japan's first "delivery service that doesn't deliver goods." By utilizing unused spaces in stores and public facilities and generating foot traffic in those locations, it simultaneously solves problems for many stakeholders, including delivery drivers, recipients, and property owners. While promoting national policy coordination, such as realizing inclusion in the Comprehensive Logistics Policy Outline, it achieves collaboration with various private companies including local governments, retail, railway, delivery, real estate, and e-commerce.

Digital and AI support tools for learning and developmental disabilities
A venture from the National Center for Child Health and Development, researching and developing digital and AI support tools in the areas of children's learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, and maternal and child health. Driven by the awareness that "there are children who cannot be saved just by waiting at the hospital," it provides solutions for medical institutions, local governments, education boards, and households.

**[Studio Program Presenters]**
The "Studio Program" provides accompanying support from experts with diverse knowledge to aspiring entrepreneurs who want to solve social issues. Five individuals aiming to create businesses from ideation will present their outcomes.

**ShelterMate (Erika Oguro)**
Developed "ShelterMate," a business management system for animal shelters that centrally manages individual information, medical records, and adoption progress of protected dogs and cats. Utilizing specialized knowledge and technology, it reduces the burden on staff and enables sustainable animal protection.
