## Tokyo Boeki Techno System Installs Demo Unit of Modular Automated Measurement System 'PRESTO XL' at Atsugi Technical Center

Tokyo Boeki Techno System (TTS), a member of the Tokyo Boeki Group (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroto Mizuhara), has installed a demonstration unit of the modular automated inspection system 'PRESTO XL' from Hexagon at its Atsugi Technical Center in Kanagawa Prefecture. This is the second demo unit of this machine to be installed in Asia, following one in China. In conjunction with this, the company held an 'Automation Day' on June 26th and 27th, featuring demonstrations for representatives from automotive manufacturers and other companies.

### Features of the Hexagon Automated Measurement System 'PRESTO'

Since its founding, TTS has spent over 30 years handling high-precision 3D measuring machines and systems, which are utilized in industries such as automotive. Today's manufacturing sector faces labor shortages, driving demand for factory automation and efficiency, which has brought attention to automated measurement systems. Hexagon's 'PRESTO' system, being modular, is relatively easy to introduce and facilitates future upgrades. It also enables high-precision measurement in about one-fourth the time of conventional contact-type measuring instruments.

Available in three sizes (M, L, XL), TTS has installed the XL demo unit at the Atsugi Technical Center, as it can also handle automotive body measurements. This installation is the second of its size in Asia, providing a facility for verifying measurement speed and meeting specific needs.
