Tokuyoshi Pharmacy's 'Tokuyoshi Pharmacy Tobu' Becomes the First in Tottori Prefecture to Receive 'Specialized Medical Institution Collaboration Pharmacy' Certification

Tokuyoshi Pharmacy Tobu (operated by Tokuyoshi Pharmacy Co., Ltd.; Location: Tottori City, Tottori Prefecture; Representative Director: Junichi Tokuyoshi) received certification as a 'Specialized Medical Institution Collaboration Pharmacy' from the prefecture on March 23, 2026. This is the first such certification in Tottori Prefecture.

At Tokuyoshi Pharmacy, we have spent approximately three years developing our systems to provide higher-quality support within the community for cancer patients and others requiring specialized pharmaceutical care. We have achieved this certification through strengthened collaboration with medical institutions, continuous professional development, and the implementation of practices designed to support the treatment and daily lives of each individual patient.

Furthermore, last year, one of our pharmacists passed the 'Outpatient Cancer Treatment Certified Pharmacist' examination administered by the Japanese Society of Pharmaceutical Oncology. With this, we will further enhance our systems for medication support, side-effect management, and treatment continuity support for patients undergoing outpatient cancer treatment.

Certification is not the goal, but a starting point for continued community support.
