Toko Metal Co., Ltd. Chiba Plant Introduces New Guillotine Shear in April 2026 to Improve Iron Recycling Processing Capacity

Toko Metal Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ota-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Takashi Fukuda, hereinafter referred to as "our company"), which pursues a circular economy and aims to create a sustainable and affluent society, newly introduced a 1600-ton guillotine shear to its Chiba Plant Port Yard (79-1 Shintomi, Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture 293-0011) on April 1, 2026.

Our company is the core enterprise of the Cyclers Group and is a recycler founded in 1902. We opened the Chiba Plant in Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture in 2007 and have been conducting large-scale metal scrap recycling processing.

We have been producing processed iron scrap using a 1000-ton guillotine shear, cutting processing with gas fusing equipment, and magnetic sorting in the crushing and sorting line from shredders to fine metal sorting lines.

The newly introduced guillotine shear was brought in to aim for the advancement of iron recycling resource production, partly due to the aging of conventional equipment.
