"Stories are always born from movie theaters" TOHO Cinemas Nagoya Sakae & Studio Ghibli Special Collaboration Revealed!!

TOHO Cinemas Ltd. will open "TOHO Cinemas Nagoya Sakae" (Location: 3-25-1 Nishiki, Naka-ku, Nagoya, Aichi) on Thursday, June 11. This theater will be the flagship store in the Chukyo region, equipped with facilities introduced for the first time in the area, such as IMAX® Laser, our proprietary Premium Theater, and the Go-on Theater. To commemorate the birth of a new movie theater in the heart of Aichi Prefecture, which is bustling with the opening of "Ghibli Park," we have decided to implement a special opening commemorative project in collaboration with "Studio Ghibli." The many stories created by Studio Ghibli, an animation studio that Japan boasts to the world, were born in movie theaters and have delivered emotion and excitement to many people. TOHO Cinemas Nagoya Sakae will open in Aichi Prefecture, where Ghibli's stories live, under the concept "Stories are always born from movie theaters."
