Toho's character band project centered on music, "Mofu Mofu Music Caravan," unfolds a fantasy story set in "Mofu World," a world embodying the word "mofu mofu." From this project, the long-awaited 3rd single "Shite Mitai" has its music video (MV) released today on the official YouTube channel.

This installment focuses on the character "Mofart" and depicts the prequel story leading up to the establishment of "Mofu Mofu Music Caravan." The highly anticipated MV is the first animation production for this project, personally handled by Yosuke Tani, who is also in charge of the project's original concept. The animation, where the protagonist Mofart moves vibrantly, deeply expresses the meticulous worldview and story of Mofu World, making it a compelling watch.

The lyrics and composition were handled by music producer Hyadain. The vocals are performed by the talented voice actor Nobunaga Shimazaki, known for his roles as Seishiro Nagi in "Blue Lock" and many other popular characters, infusing the song with overwhelming passion.

Story

This is Mofu World, a world where "mofu mofu" is embodied--

It is no exaggeration to say that Mofu World is facing its worst dark age since its creation. This is because the rule of the thorny tribe began--

The gentle Mofus are quickly stripped of their freedom by the radical thorny tribe, with no means to resist. What pained the Mofus the most was the prohibition of music, which is considered the supreme existence for them.

Amidst this, Mofart, who was imprisoned for continuing to compose illegal music, attempts to escape three days before his release, unable to suppress his desire for free music.

During his escape, Mofart invites the musicians Moftoven and Takimofutaro to form the "Mofu Mofu Caravan" to seek free music.

Eventually, their music becomes a ray of hope for the Mofus--

Characters

Mofart

Mofart, who was imprisoned for illegal music composition, continues to create free music without guilt. Despite having only three days left on his sentence, he could no longer suppress his desires and attempted to escape. While being pursued by the government as a designated thought criminal, he decides to form a band. He is the leader of the band.

Moftoven

A genius musician who was active as a married couple in a government-sanctioned duo. His wife, Mofubet, was so moved by the illegal music he secretly composed using DTM that she distributed it throughout Mofu World on Mofunet (the internet). Their life as a government-sanctioned duo was turned upside down. Moftoven and Mofubet become designated thought criminals pursued by the government. Moftoven, having lost his wife along the way, barely survives. He had retired from music but reluctantly joins the band after Mofart's persuasion. He acts as the older brother figure in the band.

Takimofutaro

The Taki family is one of the important families serving the thorny tribe, living in a castle with a keep in the center of the city of Wa. They have been producing court concerts for generations, and Takimofutaro, as the next leader, composes legal music. However, seeing the news of Mofart's escape, his soul is shaken, and after much conflict, Mofutaro leaves the castle and decides to join the band. He acts as the younger brother figure in the band.
