Tohan Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Hiroaki Kawakami) has planned a book fair inspired by its corporate message 'THINK SLOW.' and will sequentially launch it at 147 bookstores nationwide with the cooperation of 24 publishing companies.

About 'THINK SLOW.'

This is Tohan's corporate message, which has been disseminated since November 2025.

In today's world, where an extreme amount of information rapidly flies around, we question whether it is also important to "stop and think deeply." This message expresses our desire for people to turn their attention to the value of "books" now more than ever.

Book Selection Process

To select the books, we called upon all Tohan employees to contribute books that would serve as an opportunity to consider the value of reading and the importance of deliberation, based on the spirit of the corporate message 'THINK SLOW.'.

Based on hundreds of candidates raised, we held internal review meetings, and finally, 25 books were selected for the fair. Publishing companies also agreed with the spirit of 'THINK SLOW.' and kindly cooperated with the fair's development.

During this process, employees also had time to discuss 'THINK SLOW.', which led to each of them deepening their attitudes towards work and their thoughts on books.
