Tokyo Asset Solution Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Nobuaki Terashiki; hereinafter "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has invested as a limited partner (LP) in the "ON & BOARD Investment Business Limited Partnership" operated by ON & BOARD Inc. (hereinafter "ON & BOARD"), and has commenced initiatives aimed at creating new businesses through collaboration with startups.

1. Background of Investment

In recent years, with the advancement of cutting-edge technologies such as AI and DX, industrial structures and business models have become increasingly sophisticated. The real estate industry is also required to adapt to these changes.

While the Company has focused on the acquisition, development, and regeneration of real estate, we recognize that creating new value through the fusion of real assets and technology is crucial for future sustainable growth.

Against this backdrop, we have positioned the creation of new business opportunities and the expansion of our business domains through collaboration with startups as part of our growth strategy, and have decided to invest in the fund operated by ON & BOARD.

2. Features of ON & BOARD and the Fund

The fund operated by ON & BOARD is a venture capital fund that primarily invests in and nurtures startups in cutting-edge technology fields such as AI and DX, focusing on companies in their founding stages (seed and early stages).

In particular, it excels at discovering and supporting startups that leverage AI agents and cutting-edge technologies in their business areas, promoting the social implementation of highly promising technologies and business models.

3. Objectives of Investment and Collaboration

The Company views this investment not merely as a financial investment, but as a starting point for co-creation with startups through collaboration with ON & BOARD.

Specifically, we will promote the following initiatives:

- Verification of the feasibility of implementing startups' cutting-edge technologies in the Company's businesses. - Development of new services in areas such as real estate, hotels, logistics, and construction. - Creation of joint ventures with investee companies. - Advancement of the Company's existing businesses through AI and DX.

We believe that the technologies of the startups discovered and supported by ON & BOARD have high affinity with the Company's real estate development, asset management, and OMO businesses, allowing for the creation of mutual added value. Through this co-creation, we aim to expand our business portfolio and strengthen our revenue base.
