T.LEAGUE, in collaboration with T.LEAGUE partners Butterfly (Tamusu Co., Ltd.), Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions Co., Ltd., Shogakukan Academy Co., Ltd., and Mitoyo City, Kagawa Prefecture, will hold a table tennis promotion event on Saturday, May 23, 2026. This event aims to allow a wide range of generations, from preschoolers to general participants, to experience the joy and appeal of table tennis through interaction with T.LEAGUE players.
Event Overview 【① Program for Preschoolers】 Date: Saturday, May 23, 2026, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM Venue: Mitoyo City Takase Nanbu Nursery School Target: Middle and senior year preschoolers residing in the city (30 pairs, accompanied by a guardian) Content: Storytelling, racket making experience, etc. Purpose: Promoting physical activity and sports experiences in early childhood Guests: Miwa Harimoto (Kinoshita Abyell Kanagawa) Kimiyo Matsuzaki (World Table Tennis Hall of Famer, from Mitoyo City)
【② Program for General Participants】 Date: Saturday, May 23, 2026, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Venue: Mitoyo City General Gymnasium Target: General participants (pre-registration required) Content: Skill demonstration by top players, interaction event Purpose: Promoting the appeal of table tennis and expanding the player base Guests: Miwa Harimoto (Kinoshita Abyell Kanagawa) Kasumi Kimura (Top Otome Ping Pong's Nagoya)
Significance of the Event for T.LEAGUE T.LEAGUE upholds the philosophy of "connecting people and regions through table tennis" and promotes the popularization of the sport and the development of the next generation. Through this event, an experiential program that allows participants to "see, touch, and interact" with top players, we will create an opportunity for people of all ages, from children to adults, to feel the appeal of table tennis up close. Especially in the program for preschoolers, by experiencing the joy of sports early on, we aim to contribute to the formation of future exercise habits and healthy growth.
Future Developments T.LEAGUE will continue to collaborate with local governments, educational institutions, and partner companies to expand community-based table tennis promotion activities nationwide.
