STU48's Mai Nakamura 2nd Photo Book (Tentative) to Be Released August 27! Events Confirmed in Tokyo and Hiroshima!

We are unveiling the first preview images from Mai Nakamura of STU48's 2nd photo book, 'STU48 Mai Nakamura 2nd Photo Book (Tentative),' following her prominent role as center in the group's 13th single 'Sukisugite Naku.' The photo book will be released on Thursday, August 27, 2026—exactly two years after her first photo book—with pre-orders starting Wednesday, June 17 at 4:00 PM.

The photo shoot took place in Hokkaido, a region known for its vast natural landscapes. Highlights include stunning visuals of Mai in a yukata at a hot spring inn, revealing her elegant back, and a surprising transition from skiwear to captivating lingerie shots—new challenges not seen in her first photo book. The collection fully captures Mai's current charm, now further refined with a mature allure. Notably, during the shoot, she boldly cut off her long hair, a signature look since her debut—making this a must-have volume showcasing a refreshed and captivating MaiQ. I'm thrilled to announce the release of my 2nd photo book on August 27. I never imagined I'd have the chance to release a second one in my lifetime—thank you so much.

This time, I traveled to Hokkaido, visiting open fields, flower gardens, and many natural locations to capture my true self. I also took on the challenge of cutting my long hair, which I've had for years, so I believe fans will see a different side of me compared to the first photo book!
