Finally, the Final Chapter! "Sound! Euphonium" Movie Release Commemoration! 14 Series Volumes to Get New Book Bands & A Prize Campaign! (Starting April 6th)

Takarajimasha Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Makoto Sekikawa), which holds the top share in fashion magazine sales (※), will implement a special campaign for the novel series "Sound! Euphonium" in conjunction with the movie release on Friday, April 24, 2026.

"Sound! Euphonium" is a popular youth novel series that depicts high school students growing through their club activities as they aim for a national gold medal in the high school brass band competition, with cumulative sales exceeding 2 million copies across both paperback and comic versions. In this campaign, new anime visual book bands featuring different popular characters will be created for the covers of the 14 existing paperback volumes and will be sold in stores starting April 6. In addition, an acrylic key holder will be presented to those who purchase the complete set of volumes on "Rakuten Books," while "Takarajimasha Channel" will offer a complete set with a diorama acrylic stand. Furthermore, a豪華 prize campaign will be held, where participants can win luxurious prizes such as a shikishi with the author Ayano Takeda's autograph and an original illustration by Nikki Asada.

What is the "Sound! Euphonium" series?

A youth novel depicting high school students growing as they aim for a national gold medal in a brass band competition. This work sparked a significant response, especially among brass band experienced individuals and teenagers, leading to an increase in new club members wishing to play the euphonium, which was previously considered a minor instrument. Furthermore, starting with its TV anime adaptation by Kyoto Animation in 2015, three TV series, four theatrical films, and one special edition have been produced to date. In Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture, the setting of the story, many fans from all over the country visit the model locations and related sites, creating a lively atmosphere.
