Higashi Nihon Shinko Co., Ltd. (Location: Tsukubamirai City, Ibaraki Prefecture) is pleased to announce the "1st Newtas Cup in Tone Park Golf Course," the first official men's professional golf tournament to be held in Toride City, starting Wednesday, April 15, 2026. This tournament is the first of its kind in Japan (※) to be held at a riverbed golf course, and it is a celebration of "health and lifelong sports" created together with the local community.

Full Support from Local Toride City The event is supported by three cities: Toride, Moriya, and Tsukubamirai. A "Toride City PR Booth" and a local product sales corner will be set up within the venue to promote the charm of the region.

Local Pro Sho Shohtaro Tanaka Scheduled to Participate Mr. Tanaka, a native of Toride City, will showcase his passionate play supported by the familiar air of his hometown. It's a precious opportunity to witness the power of professionals up close, from rising stars to seasoned veterans.

"Stroll Spectating" x "Exquisite Gourmet" In addition to free admission, several food trucks will be present on the day. You can casually enjoy watching professional matches in the open environment of the riverbed.
