INTEC Adds AI Log Definition Automation Function to Integrated Log Management Software 'LogRevi'

INTEC Inc. (Headquarters: Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Hidemitsu Hikida; hereinafter: INTEC), a member of the TIS INTEC Group, announces that it has added an AI Log Definition Automation Function, which utilizes generative AI to streamline log definition※2, to its integrated log management software 'LogRevi.' This function will be available starting May 12, 2026.

INTEC's integrated log management software 'LogRevi' not only centrally manages logs from various systems within a company but also incorporates essential functions for integrated log management, supporting companies in utilizing their logs.

With the addition of the AI Log Definition Automation Function, AI will now streamline the log definition work required when importing logs into 'LogRevi,' reducing it to up to one-tenth of the conventional time. This will eliminate the human-dependent nature of log definition work, stabilize quality, and achieve log management that balances efficiency and accuracy.

Background

In recent years, security risks such as the surge in ransomware damage and cyber attacks have become severe, increasing the importance for corporate information security measures to properly manage and utilize various system and service logs, including PC operation logs, server access logs, and cloud service logs.

In response to this situation, INTEC has provided the integrated log management software 'LogRevi,' which can centrally manage and utilize logs from various systems scattered throughout a company, thereby supporting corporate information security measures and strengthening internal controls.

On the other hand, to manage logs output by various systems in 'LogRevi,' it is necessary to pre-define the structure of log files and what each item means—this is called log definition. Conventionally, log definition involves setting file delimiters, column names, date formats, and attributes for each item in advance to manage log files output from various systems. Traditionally, log definition was a task performed individually by specialists with expert knowledge who manually reviewed log content, which required significant work time and specialized person-hours.

To address these challenges, INTEC has newly equipped 'LogRevi' with an AI Log Definition Automation Function to streamline log definition work, and has begun offering it.

The 'LogRevi' AI Log Definition Automation Function utilizes generative AI to automatically generate log item extractions and item definition content for log definition, reducing the person-hours required for log definition work by up to one-tenth of conventional methods.

AI automatically unifies different item names for each log by referencing existing log definitions.
