INTEC and SoftBank Sign Sales Cooperation Agreement for AI-Equipped Holographic Communication Platform "PROTO"

INTEC Inc. of the TIS INTEC Group (Headquarters: Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture; President and Representative Director: Shuzo Hikida; hereinafter "INTEC") announces that it has signed a sales cooperation agreement with SoftBank Corp. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Junichi Miyakawa; hereinafter "SoftBank") for the AI-equipped holographic communication platform "PROTO". "PROTO" is an AI-equipped holographic communication platform developed and provided by PROTO Inc. (headquartered in California, USA). It is a next-generation remote communication service that seamlessly realizes everything from the creation to the management, distribution, and playback of interactive holographic content. INTEC signed a distributor agreement with PROTO Inc. and began providing installation and utilization support in April 2025, combining the sales of the company's holographic communication platform with the design and construction of networks and applications. By signing this sales cooperation agreement with SoftBank, SoftBank will be responsible for proposing implementations to corporate clients, while INTEC, as the domestic sales license holding company, will provide "PROTO" and integration services. By merging the strengths of both companies, they aim to build a structure that can consistently support everything from the proposal of "PROTO" to its installation, and to expand the next-generation communication market. Amidst this, as consultations and requests from users regarding specific considerations for implementing "PROTO" and how to utilize it have increased, INTEC, which held the sales license, was selected as SoftBank's sales cooperation partner to strengthen the system capable of consistently supporting everything from proposal to implementation, leading to this agreement. Aim of this Agreement INTEC, together with SoftBank, aims to widely popularize "PROTO" as a next-generation communication infrastructure for "places where people gather, come and go, and are fascinated." Previously, the introduction of "PROTO" was limited to specific clients or certain industries, but this agreement is expected to accelerate its spread to many more companies and facilities.
