TIMEWELL Inc. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa; CEO: Ryuta Hamamoto; hereinafter TIMEWELL), as a partner operator of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's "TOKYO SUTEAM" project for supporting startups by various entities, is opening applications for the "WARP"* program, a training program for young technical entrepreneurs that supports them in developing their own businesses, from business support and app development to company registration and proof-of-concept experiments, including partial cost coverage. We are now recruiting for the 6th cohort, starting in May.

Background of WARP
TIMEWELL's vision is to "Create the world's No. 1 infrastructure for challenges," and our founding members have been supporting business development for startups and large corporations for over 8 years. Through this experience, we have recognized that "strengthening engineering capabilities" is a fundamental issue compared to other countries. We believe that to strengthen Japan's startup ecosystem in the future, it is necessary to cultivate talent who can develop on their own and create the best products (= technical entrepreneurs).
We have seen many people give up on their businesses due to problems with funding and development speed because the founding members had limited engineering knowledge and a low rate of in-house development. We believe that to increase the success rate of startups in the future, it is urgent to provide financial support and strengthen the founders' development and engineering negotiation skills.
WARP's Direction and Goals
By teaching young prospective founders and founding members new development methods using generative AI (which improves development speed by about 5 to 10 times), we aim to accelerate the hypothesis-testing speed in business development and foster technical entrepreneurs. Additionally, we plan to partially support costs for company registration, proof-of-concept experiments, and collaborations.
WARP Overview
This program consists of a total of 8 sessions: a Business Development Course (3 sessions) and an Engineering Course (5 sessions). Each course is conducted online, and you can choose between the Wednesday class or the Sunday class to match your own pace.
