Cam followers are compact, highly rigid bearings with shafts that incorporate needle rollers internally and are used as guide rollers for cam mechanisms and linear motion. The "CFS-A type" incorporates extremely thin needle rollers and has a very small outer ring outer diameter relative to the stud diameter, allowing for compact designs.

Roller followers are compact, highly rigid bearings that incorporate needle bearings internally and are used as guide rollers for cam plates and linear motion. The "NART type" is a non-separable bearing with side plates fixed to the inner ring.

We have newly added stud diameters of µ1.4 and µ2 to the "CFS-A type" lineup, and have also added spherical outer ring types for µ2 to µ6. In addition, for the "NART type," cylindrical outer ring types have been added for all sizes from µ5 to µ50.

By increasing the number of model number variations, we will meet a wide range of needs, such as downsizing of equipment and compatibility with high loads.

As a leading manufacturer of linear motion guides, THK will continue to develop and provide products tailored to customer needs, based on the technology and know-how cultivated over the years.

About THK Co., Ltd.

Since its founding in 1971, THK has focused on developing a variety of products as an "inventive development company." In 1972, the company commercialized the "LM Guide (Linear Motion Guide)," which was the world's first realization of "rolling" for the linear motion parts of machines. This dramatically improved the performance of mechatronic equipment such as machine tools. In recent years, LM Guides have been used in railway vehicles, medical equipment, high-rise buildings and residences, amusement equipment, and more, bringing about various innovations worldwide.
