Our company supports April Dream, a project that aims to make April 1st a day for announcing dreams. This press release is a dream of "This Is Me."

This Is Me (Representative: Mayumi Ogata) addresses the common feeling of incongruity in daily communication, where "what is said differs from what is thought." Through the integration of body, language, and mind (Shin-Ku-I-Itchi), we strive to create a society where everyone can be themselves and connect authentically with peace of mind.

■ The background to wanting to realize this dream

Have you ever felt a sense of incongruity when talking to someone, thinking, "What this person is saying is different from what they're thinking"?
When I ask this question in my lectures, about 90% of the audience nod vigorously and raise their hands. In modern society, this "incongruity" is abundant in our daily lives.

Especially now that SNS evaluations and online screen-to-screen conversations are commonplace, we are more afraid of "others' eyes" than ever before, constantly searching for the right answer.
As a result, this creates deep feelings of loneliness and self-loathing, such as "I'm trying my best to speak, but it's not getting through" and "No one understands the real me."

I myself used to be extremely bad at speaking. When I stood in front of people, I would hyperventilate, my heart would be trembling with fear, but my mouth would utter positive words, and my body would be stiff. I lived with the pain of this "self-incongruity" for over 20 years.

Through speech coaching and psychological support, I have interacted with over 7,000 people, and I realized that this "noise of incongruity" was not just my personal problem, but the root cause of divisions in workplaces, families, and even between nations.

A major turning point came to me one day when I was looking up at a magnificent "sacred tree" at Atsuta Jingu shrine.

What supported that giant tree were the "invisible roots" deeply spread underground.
It was then I realized that just as the visible beautiful branches and leaves (Yang) exist because of the invisible roots (Yin), all past negative experiences and unwanted emotions are merely the "roots (Yin)" that support the "tree" of oneself.

That's why I am convinced by my past experiences.

When we accept our weaknesses, treat ourselves like a "sacred tree," and align our body, mind, and words—

Even without eloquent words, our "presence" itself touches the hearts of others, creating deep trust and a sense of security.

We know deep down that this is what true connection is.

That's why I wholeheartedly wish to support everyone who is exhausted, wearing heavy armor, thinking, "I have to speak well."

Our dream is to "make 'Body Speech,' a Japanese expression technique, a universal language, and realize a world without conflict where people can trust each other authentically, transcending language barriers!"

■ This Is Me's Future Actions

As a first step towards realizing this dream, I will accelerate the following activities:

1. Publication of a fully systematized method book (scheduled for 2026)
We will publish a book that systematizes the "technique of aligning body, language, and mind," previously known only to a few, as a business communication skill that anyone can use starting tomorrow.

2. Dissemination of "Japanese Way of Being" to global leaders
Leveraging experiences from International Women's Day in France and the WEF Summit in India, we will fully launch overseas speaking activities. Furthermore, through challenges to overseas TEDx, we will elevate 'Body Speech' to a global standard method.

No matter how perfectly AI can create text, ultimately, people place their trust in the 'presence (analog)' of a person, which cannot lie.

We believe that our activities will lead to a society where everyone can treat themselves with care and connect with others from the bottom of their hearts with peace of mind.
We pray that communication not only in Japan but all over the world will be filled with warm colors.

*"April Dream" is a project by PR TIMES where companies announce dreams they hope to achieve on April 1st. We are seriously committed to realizing this dream.
