AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) refers to artificial intelligence capable of performing any cognitive task that humans can. While its realization is predicted to dramatically change industrial and social structures, research and development are currently being advanced by a few companies, primarily major tech companies in the US and China. However, it is said that many technical hurdles still exist in achieving it.


In light of this situation, Third Intelligence aims to establish and socially implement "Ubiquitous AGI" by overcoming the limitations of frontier models with next-generation algorithms. "Ubiquitous AGI" has the characteristic that its value is maximized when used by a diverse range of users. Therefore, Third Intelligence focuses on creating global AI products for a wide range of consumers, promoting research and product development in an integrated manner. <Biographies>

・Chief Product Officer Mayumi Narisawa

Graduated from music university and engaged in music education business. Later transitioned to the IT industry. At DeNA, she was involved in Service Design/UX/UI design for many mobile service businesses, and subsequently handled physical card experience design at Kyash. In 2018, she joined Mercari. As a Product Designer, she led services from launch to growth. After serving as Head of Design, she was appointed Executive Officer and CPO in January 2022. In 2023, she became a director of the Japan CPO Association. From the same year, she concurrently served as Executive Officer, VP of Loyalty Program, responsible for the Mercari Group's overall customer engagement foundation, overseeing loyalty program strategy across the group. In July 2024, she was appointed Executive Officer, CXO Japan Region at Mercari. She joined Third Intelligence in February 2026 and oversees the AI product business as Chief Product Officer.

・Product Director Yuhei Nishioka

After completing his Master's degree in Informatics at Kyoto University, he joined Cisco Systems. In 2005, the open-source software he developed, "Tuigwaa," was recognized as a "Super Creator" by the Information-technology Promotion Agency (IPA). At Rakuten Institute of Technology, he led research and development in areas such as natural language processing and machine learning as Chief Technologist. In 2014, he joined SmartNews, where he led the Data Science and Machine Learning department before overseeing product development for the US market from their Silicon Valley base. In 2023, he led the construction of next-generation medical infrastructure as CTO at Fast Doctor. He joined Third Intelligence in February 2026 and oversees AI product development as Product Director. He is also a director of the Japan Association of Certified Product Officers.


・VP of Engineering, Product Michael Toshiro Omoto

Graduated from the University of California, Irvine, majoring in Psychology and Philosophy. He transitioned from cognitive scientist to software engineer in 2011 and served as Director of Engineering at Presto, a Y Combinator-backed startup. He led rapid growth from Series A to Series D, increasing the company's valuation from $10 million to $200 million. After moving to Japan, he joined Mercari as an Engineering Manager, contributing to building global-standard development systems by introducing Silicon Valley development culture to the Japanese organization. Subsequently, he joined Google Maps as an Engineering Manager, leading the privacy area for location information and promoting the development of AI products with privacy considerations built in from the design stage. He joined Third Intelligence in April 2026 and leads AI product software design and development, as well as organizational building, as VP of Engineering, Product, driving social implementation through the integration of research and product development.


・VP of Business Norio Nishioka

Completed his Master's degree in Science and Engineering at Waseda University and an MBA at Cambridge. After working at Nomura Research Institute, he joined Google Cloud Japan. He led cloud business launch, strategy planning, design, and implementation, supporting digital transformation for large enterprises. He spearheaded the creation of advanced cases in DX and AI fields, driving business transformation for large companies from both technical and business perspectives. In January 2026, he joined Third Intelligence. As VP of Business, he leads discussions with various investors, proposes collaboration for fundraising, and formulates business plans. He is currently a doctoral candidate in the Graduate School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo. He also serves as an Executive Officer of the Japan Business Model Association. Co-authored "Illustrated Instant Help: Understanding Google Cloud's Mechanisms and Technologies in One Book" (Tech Boo).


・Chief People Officer Ikuma Kusafuka

Graduated from International Christian University and joined IBM Japan. In the HR department, he gained experience as a Department-dedicated HR (HRBP) and in new graduate recruitment. In 2014, he joined Google Japan, leading domestic new graduate recruitment and Asia-Pacific MBA recruitment. Simultaneously, as a lead for internal research on HR systems, he also engaged in HR system consultations for external clients. He consistently drove recruitment strategies from planning to brand design and selection process design and implementation. From 2020, at Deep Growth Partners, he served as CHRO, focusing on talent and organizational development to support corporate growth and engaging in public speaking. In April 2026, he joined Third Intelligence. As Chief People Officer, he is responsible for organizational strategy and building the talent foundation. ・Executive Advisor Naoto Hoshi

Joined Morgan Stanley Securities as a new graduate. In the M&A team of the Investment Banking Division, he led major domestic integration projects and large cross-border deals exceeding 1 trillion yen. After working for approximately 12 years in the Tokyo and New York offices, he became Director and CFO of Unifa Inc. He led fundraising of approximately 10 billion yen and strategic initiative planning and execution, including secondary transactions. Currently, he serves as a financial strategy advisor for a TSE Prime-listed company, an external director and financial strategy consultant for unlisted startups, and Representative Director of the Japan Association of Impact Startups, deeply involved in the management of companies at various stages.
