Thinking Data Inc. has announced that active pro gamer Oniki (affiliated with NORTHEPTION) will participate in the after-party of the "Data→AI Meetup 2026" to be held on Friday, April 17, 2026. Attendees will have the opportunity to directly challenge Oniki in Street Fighter 6, and a prize will be awarded to any challenger who manages to secure a victory.

A Once-a-Year Chance to Challenge an Active Pro Directly Opportunities to experience a serious match with an active pro gamer are rare. Oniki is a pro gamer affiliated with NORTHEPTION who plays Kimberly in Street Fighter 6. In 2021, he finished as the runner-up in the official Capcom tournament "SFL: Pro-JP 2021 Tryout Tournament #3" and obtained a JeSU-certified pro license the same year. He is also known as a "Fighting Teacher," currently serving as an instructor at the Esports High School. Oniki will await challengers on this day only. With prizes on the line for a win, those confident in their skills are highly encouraged to challenge him.

The Forefront of Data x AI by Day, A Test of Skill by Night In the main part of the event (starting at 1:00 PM), practical sessions will be held focusing on data utilization, AI agents, and global expansion. After gaining insights from speakers active at the forefront of the industry, a unique, one-day-only experience awaits at the after-party (starting at 6:00 PM) where you can challenge Oniki. Participation is free. Capacity is 250 people (requires prior registration), and registration will close as soon as the capacity is reached.
