Wishes to the Stars - Tanabata Event at 'Kyushu Chikuhō Ramen Yamakoya Founding Store' on June 19 (Fri), Where Local Kindergarten Children Share Their Wishes!

YS Food Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kagamiyama 567, Koga Town, Tagawa District, Fukuoka Prefecture / President and CEO Yukio Nakamura, hereinafter "the Company"), operating under Trailhead Holdings and managing the chain expansion and wholesale of ingredients for the 'Kyushu Chikuhō Ramen' brand, will host a Tanabata event on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the 'Yamakoya Founding Store'—the birthplace of 'Yamakoya Ramen'—featuring 31 children from Warakko Nursery, a local kindergarten that recently relocated and reopened this year.

Children will collectively decorate long strings hung under the store's entrance eaves

This event has been held annually since 2019, the year after the 'Yamakoya Founding Store' relocated. It was suspended in 2020 due to the pandemic but resumed in 2021 and marks its 7th edition this year.

Warakko Nursery, participating in this year’s event, is the newly relocated and renovated facility of the former 'Magarikane Nursery' (767-2 Takano, Koga Town), which has long supported the growth of local children. Aiming to provide a more enriched childcare environment, the nursery has restarted with renewed spirit. We look forward to expanding warm community ties once again with the children of this revitalized nursery.

On the day, children will enthusiastically attach their handwritten tanzaku (wishing strips) and colorful Tanabata decorations to specially made long strings hung under the eaves of the store entrance. These strings will then be extended across a section of the ceiling inside the store, creating a beautiful space reminiscent of the Milky Way flowing overhead.

On the day, the tanzaku decorated by children under the eaves will stretch across a section of the ceiling like the Milky Way
