While roasted sweet potatoes are typically associated with autumn and winter, they have recently gained attention as a chilled dessert—"refreshingly cold roasted sweet potatoes"—or as a semi-frozen sweet treat.

This event at THE FARM BASE allows guests to fill a bag with as many frozen roasted sweet potatoes as they can fit—an innovative and fun concept that has never been seen before.

Delivered to visitors at THE FARM BASE, this initiative brings the joy of farm-to-table eating into a shopping experience, unique to a farm resort setting.

The sweet potatoes used in this event are Beni-haruka, grown in and around Katori City, Chiba Prefecture. After being slowly roasted and then frozen, they become a refreshingly sweet dessert that preserves the natural sweetness and moist texture unique to Beni-haruka.

Enjoy them semi-frozen for a smooth, cool mouthfeel—perfect as a summer snack. Fully thawed, they offer a rich, sticky sweetness just like freshly roasted sweet potatoes.

They can be enjoyed as-is, paired with vanilla ice cream or yogurt, or used creatively for breakfast or desserts.
